It's been four months since President Barack Obama signed a memorandum establishing the America's Great Outdoors Initiative to develop a conservation and recreation agenda for the 21st century. So far, 17 listening sessions have been held around the country in an effort to find community-driven strategies for reconnecting Americans with the great outdoors. Last week, the schedule was expanded to include a listening session this Friday in Nashville. The meeting will be led by top officials from the U.S. Department of Interior and U.S. Department of Agriculture, the agencies that oversee national parks, national forests and fish and wildlife services.…
