Children and Nature Connection - Northern Colorado

Since working to bring Louv to Ft. Collins in Fall 2006, this collaborative effort of 20 local agencies,organizations and individuals has focused on community outreach to raise awareness and encourage parents to take kids outside. Public presentations, book study classes for teachers, and booth at local events have been used to spread the word. Agencies and organizations are modifying their youth outreach programs to include unstructured play time.
